1956 Pontiac frame

Anyone know where I can get a good frame for 56 Pathfinder 4Dr - I understand Canadian 56's were built on a Chev chassis

That could be a problem - I'm in Ontario near Ottawa - how much do you want for it

Looks like he hasn't been on since he made his request. I find this happens quite often.

if your frame is from the 55 Laurentian it probably won't fit - Canadian 56's were shorter (because chev chassis instead of buick like the americans)

A 1955 Laurentian frame will fit your 1956 Pathfinder. The only difference is the rear leaf spring shackle. The 55 has a straight shackle and the 56 and 57 shackle is curved. If you are going to install new shackle bushings you have to order the correct year. Everything else will work. The rear springs are the same all 3 years but there were 3 different springs used. Standard, heavy duty used on most station wagons, and extra heavy duty on taxi, police packages, and the 9 passenger station wagons.

Hi I'm looking for some 56 Canadian Pontiac front fender trim and was wondering if anyone had any or any leads on some. I'm in B.C. but I'm willing to have the pieces shipped to me. If anyone known's of any I'm interested. Also looking for a 56 canadian Pontiac headlight bucket.

Hi Kasey.

The best hope for success on that is if you would start a wanted ad in the Pontiac Parts Wanted section on here. Many people will never see your wanted ad here in someone else's thread about a frame wanted.
