Yes, the suspension on your Strato-Chief is the same as Chevrolet Impala.      Basically the full-size Canadian Pontiacs are GM Canada sheetmetal resembling a US Pontiac, bolted onto a Chevrolet Impala frame & drivetrain.  Even some of the interior items including steering column, heater box, pedals and console (if applicable) are Chevy Impala.

To Expand on seventy 2plus2

Everything mechanical is 69 fullsize chevy (engine, cooling, heating, trans, brakes, exhaust and suspension and steering (gas tank, wipers etc)
Everything interior except dash is 69 fullsize chevy (door inner panels, armrests seats, steering wheel and column, pedals etc
Dash is 69 fullsize American pontiac (radio, heater control, wiper switch etc)
Body: all floor panels, trunk pans, firewall, rad support etc are fullsize chevy
Doors, quarter skins, roof, bumpers, taillights, grills and small taillight version of trunk lid is fullsize American Pontiac
roof and glass is fullsize chevy AND fullsize American pontiac
front fenders, inner front fenders, valence panels, emblems, hood, bumper brackets-supports and large taillight version of trunklid are unique to Canadian Pontiacs

Leo,

It's in the paint shop at the moment getting the fenders done which will lead to a near complete repaint I'm sure. Car never had a "paintjob" but everything but the roof, doors and one quarter have been painted at some point due to little prangs. There is so much door rash and scrathes I'll probably end up painting the whole lower body (outer surfaces only, all the jams are original and beautiful) and shoot a clear over the original silver roof.

Of course with this weather it doesn't matter, we even have snow coming down today.
