Helmut, I found buying a good 621 bellhousing a challenge. Even when the vendor says in perfect condition they're cracked or marked one way or another. They're available in reproduction, that may be a good alternative.

I don't know anything about the quality of the reproduced ones. When I don't know the quality difference, I tend to look for original items. Can anyone vouch for the reproductions?

Southwest speed reproduces the 621 bell housing for about $200 USD.  I recently bought a reproduction cast iron bell housing for my 57 from them and it was perfect.

Just dug out my old one from the shed to get a number. 3840383, not what you're looking for.
