Anyone have a 1969 2+2 "parts car"?

If I take on the restoration of the "holy grail" car, there are a few coffee cans of stuff that go with it but I'm going to assume that it's FAR from complete.  Maybe it is, but I need to plan for it not being, which means I'm going to be short every screw and clip and fastener and brace and bracket.

I'm thinking it'll be a LOT easier for me if I have a "parts car" that I can basically use to make one car out of two - the body and drivetrain from the 427-4spd-rag, the clips and screws and brackets from the donor car.

But what to use as a donor car?  I sold a complete red 69 2+2 auto convertible for $6K that I'd love to have back, but it was honestly too nice to be a donor car.

So I think I'm actually looking for something more than a parts car but it doesn't -have- to be a 2+2.  Could be a four door parisienne, though a 2-door would be better.

Anyone have something sinking in their back yard with a bad body and rusty frame but otherwise a complete car?

There has been a 69 2+2 red ragtop off and on Kijiji lately in Canada. I think they were asking $6-7k Can.

Please shoot me a heads up if you see it! Wonder if it's my old red one...

Another member has looked at it and sent me a message that got the traditional Ontario Salt Induced Cancer.

That's going to be my problem - finding a worn one that's worth taking apart that isn't rusty! I don't think I'll dive into this particular pool until I have the project car in hand so I know what I need.   For example I don't know if I need a trunk or floors.  But I'd still grab the right one just in case if it comes up: good rear quarters and largely unmolested but tired and done.

Actually something that's totally from being hit would be ideal, but I'm about 20 years too late for that party!

I have been watching one since 1985

I didn't have the $1,400 and he was right to not sell anyways.

This one has been indoors and hasn't moved since 1976 !

Big block 2+2, Automatic, Coupe.

My spies tell me it's still there.

There is no doubt in my mind that more will come up.
