The odometer said 01543 so I would think that's 101543 miles.

It looks to be either a 1978 or a 79; the latter had square headlights. The colour looks to be a 1978 hue.

And the amazing thing is being a Kenora car that it is still intact, seeing as most were rusted beyond recognition by about 1985......

There's a lot of weird survivors showing up lately. Just saw this on Kijiji today. In Bathurst, NB

Yours for $6500.

That Pinto Cruising Wagon looks perfect for the parade that runs down Church & Wellsley in Toronto every year. Not being sarcastic, it has the rainbow colours & everything.

A person would be proud to drive it in such a parade.

I believe that is all factory as I remember MPC issued a model of the same Pinto with the panel conversion and paint scheme back in the day.

I worked at Holiday Chevrolet as a car jockey ( summer job) in 1978. We had a full row of these out back. They didn't sell - the Cutlass's, Impalas, and Caprices were moving but these didn't

A year later when there was oil shortage caused by the standoff between Iran and the USA they started selling

One thing I got a kick out of was her crappy parking job. Even though she's badly parked it still fits!

makes sense the Pinto survived...the owner was clearly embarrassed to be seen in it outside the garage, so it never left. biggrin
