Saw this car many times both in the U.S. and Canada.  Very rare but not for me, I would not enjoy the 4 cyl and that is what makes it rare.

rare doesnt necesseraly mean desirable
people who appreciate 60 s cars would not want an engine that is so common today ( i mean the 4 cyl not the 153 c u )

4 cyl and rear Wheel covers not for me

but it is a nice original example of an Acadian

GM docs did not split list into seperate models

 Did  they start listing model #'s in a certain year?confuse Mine say"same model # 552, as in SD's or were verts never broke down?

never broken down as far as i know.
at least between beaumonts and SD in 63
need to see a sheet from a Hard top to tell for sure

I believe when I first saw this car it had an original interior.  Today, my thinking is the black exterior would be very rare.  Most of these cars I have seen are a pastel color.  Light blue, yellow, white or red.  I do believe that in some years of the Chevy II and Acadian black was not even offered at least in the U.S. maybe in Canada.

I stand corrected, I checked and Tuxedo black code 900 was an option, just not one I remember seeing much.

With the Chevy II or Nova interior, it kind of kills the whole originality of the car for me.
