I bought a 66 Canso 2 door hardtop yesterday and have a lot of reassembly to do. I'll hopefully be leaning on all of you for help so thank-you in advance. Would anyone be able to decode the trim tag for me? Thanks.

Chateau Slate Grey is a very rare colour. It was only available for a short time if my memory is right!
Yes, I remember reading the US guys saying that about the American Chevy II's. I think it was something like the first two months of production. And yet, this is an April car, far from the start of production. I wonder if possibly the Acadians had it available for longer, maybe the entire model year?
I don't think I've ever seen an Acadian in that colour. If it was mine and I was repainting it, I'd certainly do it in that colour. Nice colour, and oh so rare...

Carl I think I remember hearing that the colour Chateau Slate Grey was available for 6 days of production (Nova Info). It was my choice of colour for my Canso SD but not my painters! It sure would have been easy to keep clean.
Does anyone have a photo of a Canso/Nova in that color? The car has a beautiful pearl blue paint job on it and with the cost of paint, it's not getting changed, but I'm curious as to the original color.
Sweet car! You might want to get the GM docs for it. There were more Canso V8 SD's made (552) than Canso v8's made(302). Rare gem with that paint code!
The package tray is still the original color. It is a nice silver!
Would someone be able to advise the order of parts to reinstall the side glass........... or have PDF's of those sheets from the assembly manual? I do still need to pick up new weatherstripping though.
