I had this exact car. same colour, my father bought it new in winnipeg or edmonton, i flew out to edmonton and drove it home when i bought it off him in late 1980's. what a cruiser.all anybody ever commented on was the rear window, its not a lot different looking than the rear window of my 1959 pontiac vista cruiser. my wife was a cashier at safeway for 37 years and use to drive it to work. people thought she was selling something other than groceries and im not talking about drugs

A friend of mines Father bought one new in 77. We did a trip to Myrtle Beach with my 67 Toronado, funny thing I got better gas mileage so we figured the 67 was more aerodynamic. He had the car for over 10yrs. never a problem and I still have mine.

Originally they were also supposed to come with twin Hurst Hatch T-roof panels that were power operated and stowed, stack in the middle. Only the prototype got it though.
That must be a heavy car. For a personal luxury coupe it has a lot of room, especially with those flat floors.
Man, if you ever broke the rear window, you'd be better off putting on a padded vinyl top & opera windows that would make a pimp named Huggy Bear proud!
