63 GMC Suburban Project- rare and a 2 door

I think this should sell quickly if its not complete garbage. $4,000. Not far from me if anyone interested, I'd check it out.

Those things are beautiful. I love the colour, that is such a common colour in those years. I grew up with a 65 GMC that colour.

And the small town I live in had the same truck as the one in the pictures as an ambulance for years. When it was replaced we used it to haul firefighters out to calls.

I'd be tempted if I had a bigger garage. I wonder how hard it would be to put on a later model 4x4 chassis?

it works ok my 65 gmc is done that way however the origional frame as alot flatter than the newer style as the newer one comes up alot behind the cab you kinda end up with a body liftall these era burbs were 2 doors then 67-72 had 3 doors and if you ever see a 1 ton 62-66 panel they are huge!

the burb also has a bit of a different frame , longer in the back, and mounts are burb only, the 4x4 is a animal all on its own

I guess there's a magic price for every vehicle for sale but I'm with you, I would have thought this one had to be pretty close to being at that price. You could start with a rusty pile of junk for 500 bucks and not be in this good a shape when that one hit 4K.

I inquired about this suburban a month ago. Just can't find the time to go look at it.

I'd be happy to drop by and see if its junk if you are serious. It'd be a nice drive, if its easy to see.
