I took in the annual Bothwell car show with my 74 Chev Caprice Estate wagon because this year the theme was wagons, panels and deliveries. It only rained for about 40 minutes at 3:00 pm and i put my shammy to good use.
The turn out was big but not as big as events in the past. Some lucky person won just over $32,000 with the 50/50 draw. I spoke to fellow C.P. members Land Shark (68 2+2) and Turtle (63 Invader). It cost me exactly $72.47 in gas there and back because my 74 loves fuel. I was there right to the end because of my 50/50 tickets. The show was as usual a real quality event. Check out the rides. Cheers.

Thanks George I have seen more cars in your photos than I had time to view at the Bothwell event. We were vending in the swap meet and had a great time meeting lots of new car guys from the local area. Our sales were excellent and we had a great time. We are planning on going again next year and will be booking the same lots again. It is quite a distance to travel from Timmins but the hospitatility was excellent. Thanks for all the photos.

A shameless bump for two reasons. Enjoy the rides here and a reminder that summer and car shows are coming to an end soon. Get out there and enjoy what is left of the old car season. Cheers. George

Thanks for posting all the pictures George. I didn't have time to look at much of the show area because I hung around talking to people about my car. After it sold, I almost had enough time to see all the vendor areas before the downpour. Just missed the two shortest aisles.

Frank, congrats on selling that sweet little 63. I enjoyed checking out the car and speaking to you sir. I hope she went to a good home and not a house of horrors. Cheers.George
