I've got a 1961 Pontiac StratoChief with a 261. Can anybody tell me if the frame side motor mounts are the same on the straight 6 as the V8? I only have pics of the v8 mounts and they look really similar but I can't be sure.
V8's are shorter than the 6 frame side mounts. If you are thinking of a V8, you can get those mounts off a Chevy or Cdn Pontiac from at least 59-64, maybe other years.
