Thanks to Cheviac and Ray for this !

I bought some parts off of both guys earlier in the year and finally got around to installing them in the 2+2.

Tilt steering column and GTO faux wood wheel.

I think they look great.

Thanks guys.

Looks great. How do you like the tilt feature?

Wanted to do a tilt in my 67, bought a column from a member here, but too far gone to repair. Maybe a core for exchange some day.

I'm sure you'll enjoy tilt, one thing I'd love to have in the old girl.

I always found the stock column and the big steering wheel a little big and hard to slide myself under, getting into the car.

With this tilt and the slightly smaller in diameter wood wheel it's quite easy to get in and out of and is a comfortable position in my hand.

.... and I love the look of that wheel.

I agree Todd, I had that wheel for a long time always with the intention of putting it in the LeMans but for some reason kept procrastinating. When the opportunity came up to move it along to Scott I knew his 2+2 was the absolute right car for it. I can't tell you how happy I am that I saved that wheel and it found a proper home in the LandShark !

Have to say, I certainly knew the condition before buying. Rebuilding these things is better off left to a pro.
