Looking for a few little 283 pieces

Couple of pieces I'd like to find and one I need to find. Not sure if they are reproed or not but my oil pressure connector for the idiot light is starting to leak some oil. Had a couple but only one likes to read oil pressure. Also looking for the little shield that surrounds a pair of spark plugs and also another valve cover spark plug wire support. Thanks.

Jerel, I think there's left and rights for those plug wire shields. Is the one pictured the one you need?

Actually that is the one I have on the driver's side. Would need the opposite side then. Thx.

I'm going by memory but won't you have one of each style on each side? Isn't the right front and the left rear shield the same?

As I say, going on memory because I'm used to the rams horn manifolds on B body and Acadians, not the log style like your's on the Beaumonts.

Sorry the plug shields are all the same. I thought you were referring to the spark plug wire holder.

So I just found a sender on ebay and ordered it. 13 bucks Canadian with free shipping so can pick it up this weekend when down in Washington.

The spark plug heat shields are reproed, atleast they used to be. Believe there are different ones for small block vs big block but they do both.

Looks like you're also missing atleast 1 exhaust manifold bolt lock. Again they are reproed and slightly different BBC vs SBC.

Ah, ok, you can tell I'm not a Beaumont guy! I don't have any of those then, mine are all the style with opposing images.

For some reason I was thinking you needed the pressure sender connector. I'm pretty sure the sending unit can still be bought at your dealer as well under 3815936. I've sold many of those over the years but maybe by now they are obsolete. I don't remember what they cost though.

Whoops, and I see you already ordered one anyway...

Yes, one of the bolt locks was pretty soft.  Will grab one of those if I stumble across one.

I have some wire looms ... I will check if you still need one. I'll take some pictures of what I have.

I bought a repro oil sender and repro shields.

Do you need anything else Jerel?

I will look to see if i have anything.  that stuff is almost impossible to find.  althought i think the heat shield set is being reproduced, but i am not sure if it is 100% correct for a 64

Just for the record, these looms and shields are specific to 1964 and 1965 chevelles and beaumonts only.  no other GM car used the same ones.  possibly 1966 as well, but by 1967 they were all different

Interesting and thanks for that Dave.  So I may be somewhat different already then as this engine is out of a 66 Beaumont. Mainly trying to have it look uniform and functional. Not entering any shows for judging. And if you see this car on a trailer it's probably been stolen.

I think this is the list for now. I got a loom yesterday from a friend which is probably era correct but I had to mount it in an a different position so looks a little hokey but will keep the wires clear for now. Thanks Darryl.

Your pics look like the correct 1964 stuff, so 64-66 is most likely the same then

Well, Canadian Poncho comes through again and in very short time. Couple guys from the coast I have to thank. Brian C. (Brian)was on a mission when he saw what I was missing and the pieces he didn't have, he sourced out today from another member Don(rkycoast) Good on both of them but an extra thanks to Brian who keeps me educated in all these little things I am not familiar with and also for his drive to hunt down the other parts. And when I talk to him it isn't because he doesn't have anything else to do but he makes time from his busy schedule to keep another one of these Beaumonts performing on the road. Both great guys and I want to acknowledge them.
