Hi - never seen one of these - there are several on ebay and one listing describes it as being for a 53 or 54

Hmm, it's clearly old but I sure don't recall seeing anything from the 60's with a fuse panel cover. And it's the old glass fuses, so can't be much past mid 70's.

Interesting it has fuses for fog lamps and backup lamps. I'm guessing it's 50's, and for cars that were decked out with all sorts of electrical accessories.

my sons 53 chieftain has the exact cover on the fusebox. with the options listed, his car was built in oshawa.

My 1952 Chieftan had one exactly the same as this.  When I owned my US 48 streamliner I purchased one for it as every fuse was in a separate holder.  Never did install it before I sold the car.  Still have it in my parts collection.  If anyone needs it would sell it for $20.00 Cdn plus postage. Bob.
