Pictures taken at Cobble Beach Concours log on to citroprez

Back in June while at the Fleetwood Cruize-in I was introduced by Steve Plunkett, to Rob McLeese who is the Chairman of the Cobble Beach Concourse.  He was very interested in my 58 Pontiac and after looking it over very carefully asked me if I would like to enter it in this years show.  I was honoured to be asked and of course accepted.  This past weekend I did attend the event and was blown away how well this high end show was run.  Every little detail was taken care of with lots of staff and volunteers on hand to help you in any way.  In my class the competition was extremely tough as all the other five vehicles had been restored within the past two years where as mine was restored back in 1976 -1982!  However when it came time for the judges to look over the car guess they felt it was still in excellent condition as I was awarded with a third place ribbon which just happened to be green that matches my car!   Bob.IMG_1404.JPG

if anyone is interested in view some great pictures of the Cobble Beach show just log on to the website called citroprez and look for the square showing 2017

Cobble Beach Concours.  There are about 135 pix on it.  Bob.

Wow, that is a great honour for you and your car. Especially when it was restored so long ago- unbelievable. Congratulations.

Cobble Beach is a whole 'nother level.

You won a ribbon, and a green one that matches your car. How cool is that? Obviously they have good taste...

Probably the best Canadian 1958 Pontiac to be found anywhere. Well deserving recognition of Bob's fine 58.

Very nice photos, great one of the 58. I was expecting to see my wife's cousin with his 65 Big Block Corvette but it didn't make the photos.

Most of those cars are way out of Canadian Poncho league that's for sure.
