Does it have that nice solid feel like the originals do?

Kevin, am I right in remembering the 64 console looks the same at a glance but something in the ribs is different?

64 has less ribs per inch. this thing weights about 1/4 of an original

What do you think the casting material is? Obviously not anything like the original.

Does it feel flimsy? The originals certainly didn't but they seemed like overkill too.

Wow, it sure doesn't look plastic. If it looks 1/2 as good in real life it's a nice piece.

The only concern might be peeling. I remember way back when, plastic that was chromed had issues but you'd think/hope by now they have that licked.
