Yes, agreed very nice car. Welcome from the Okanagan valley. I made that same trip through the northern States about 3 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it, even visited the Presidents.
Welcome, and nice car!. I made a very similar trip in 2004 from Niagara Falls with a 95 Caprice wagon through the states with no plates. I'd love to do it again!
Wow, first that is a beautiful car and so unique. First one I restored was a 69 Nova SS. Honestly there is something about the size of that 3rd gen Nova. It just fits me so well. I didn't really realize that until I bought my 66 Biscayne. There was something so different about the full size car. I came to realize that I had so many Novas that everytime I got into a different one it felt the same. It was like an old glove, just felt so good.
In 2001, I bought a 1962 Canadian Nova Convertible in Kamloops, BC and drove it to Reno, NV. It was August and I was there for Hot August Nights. After a week there I drove the car home to Michigan. One of the best trips of my life. Couple years later, I picked up two cars with my dually and trailer, one in Oregon and one from Vancouver Island. It was first of Dec. and I drove east on I-90 thru northern Idaho in a blizzard. I love that road but with the 3 unit UPS & FedEx trucks being my only partners on the Interstate, they threw up snow that blinded me everytime they passed and I prayed my way into Montana and had a tire failure just west of Missoula. That is where I found an old salvage yard with 7500 cars and I bought a couple wheels and tires off a one ton Ford P/U for the trailer. I returned to that yard about 2 1/2 years later to pick parts but they had crushed 4500 of the cars.
Enjoy that Acadian, they are special in my option.
