It says that it is a '71 but it lacks the center split that the 71/72 style had, plus the metal door panels appear to be 1970. I am wondering if it is in fact a '70. Big difference in that they switched from 4-wheel drums with 6 lugs to front disk / rear drums with 5 lugs for '71.

The last year for significant differences between the Canadian vs. U.S. GMC pickups was 1969. The light duty U.S. trucks were 1500, 2500 & 3500 series with either GMC V6 power or Chevy inline 6 or V8 power, meanwhile in Canada they were 910, 920 & 930 series with just Chevy power.

Looks to be worth saving, but you would have to keep those red heater hoses for Carl! wink

It was probably a decent runner before the accident.

That firewall to cowl seam appears to be in nice shape. To my mind, it's a very good indicator of a B bodies overall condition.

That body would be a very good replacement for the rare Green 68 427 seen here years ago.

I was thinking it might be that car!  Figured I'd better ask about the original engine just in case.

It seems there have been more frames for sale on here than there were cars to put them under.

Good luck!

I could've repaired that. Just a light tug. It helps that the front end/engine isn't attached.

I've never seen the Palladium silver with the red interior. Was this combo factory?

Would be stunning all done.
