This has been a sad situation for all but the people who deal with the one London dealer, rave about how well they have been treated.

I have often heard someone say, I'm not buying another (fill in the blank) because of the dealer.

The Google reviews are very interesting reads for car dealerships.

We do have a love/hate relationship with them all.

I will ask my friend if he has snow tires for his car.

He took the opportunity to move up to a Passat.

Yes, sad.

I've had a slowly evolving dispute with my GM dealer that finally reached an end.

I left a bad rating/comments on their web page, that I didn't really feel like doing, but, in the end I had to. I got no satisfaction by talking to their service manager ... he kept sloughing me off, and diverting.

Thread moved to "The Lounge". Not sure why it was in the "Flea Market".

I got rid of my 2013 Passat TDI and got a new 2015 Passat TDI, manual transmission, lots of warranty. The new one is a bit better on fuel than the old one, with the old one I traveled from Ottawa to Amherst, NS, 63 liters and drove about 130KPH all the way. I think at 100-110 I could drive the whole way on one tank.

Made in Alabama since 2009. I almost bought one once, really like the design of the box and storage under the box and rear seats. They've gotten very expensive like most trucks.
