You may just have to buy it!

I would agree, never seen anything but a Parisienne or Grande Parisienne with factory a/c in those years. Usually someone on a budget didn't buy a/c. Good money managing actually, spend less on the base car and get the options you want with the extra money.

A 1969 Pontiac that my wife would love biggrin

That's a car that I could drive across the county.

would the chrome trim around the side windows have been an appearance option group - maybe something that went with the vinyl roof?

Is that dirt or paint overspray on the firewall?

You mean the brownish colour? I was assuming that was dirt. Often the firewalls on old cars are crusty like that, at least around here.

I'm thinking the chrome around the windows would have been present on the Parisienne & Laurentian, but not on a Strato-Chief.  The chrome driprail molding is possibly because of the vinyl roof, as the Laurentian would not have had that.   My 70 454 Laurentian did not have the chrome driprail molding.

Is this the same car?

If so the price has gone up a little, but that could be a reflection of work that was done to it.

Well I'll be darned. It is the same car. Wonder why we didn't comment about the AC then?

I'm not sure if it there was another thread that included the original ad or not, as I seem to recall reading on here that the car was wintered in Florida (which would explain the A/C and Disneyworld sticker).  I haven't had much luck with the search function for some reason.
