Thank you, we have 14 here for the weekend so it is a great time to be together, share good food, drink and football. We will forever be optimistic when it comes to Detroit Lions, Thanksgiving Day Football, it is our tradition.
In preparation for our guests this weekend, we were cleaning out some papers stored in the recreation room and I came across some family history complied by my late Aunt 20 years ago. So interesting to discover my Great Grandparents were both born in England. They had 3 children the oldest of which stayed in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, where he raised a family and that family has grown to be many more (?) not sure just how many but their family name is the same as mine, Hallett. His sister came into the U.S. and the youngest, my Grandfather was born in Detroit while his father lived and worked in Windsor for many years. It really is a small world.
