What is safe theses days, in the way of taking payment?? This just sucks big time.

I guess the vehicle does not move until bank says it's all good. 10-15 days  hold on all sales??

Well unless cash, but that could be bad as well. GPS tracking until payment is cleared.

then remove tracker.

Well that certainly sounds hopeful.

I think the only safe way is e-transfer or if it's a bank draft, go to the bank with the buyer.

When I bought my Strato Chief he would not give me the keys until he was back from the bank, and I was fine with that.

when bank says moneys in my account then I will hand over paper work. When new owner comes back with car in his name then he can take it.

Last time I sold a car I was handed cash and then we went and transferred the ownership.
