Tiny Tonka Collecting

One of the side line hobbies I do is collect Tiny Tonka's in the original packaging. Finding them locally are next to impossible, so watching auctions houses is the best bet. Should you find any in your travels, chances are I would buy them. Even if they are doubles. Singles or sets.

I had QUITE a few of those as a kid. I remember getting the fire truck set for my birthday. There was a semi with a ladder trailer, two vans (one fire, one a white ambulance I believe) and I think a standard firetruck. I also had the Winnebego. They were great tough toys. If you are on Facebook I would assume there's a group for collectors. I joined a Matchbox group with 25000 members. There's often live auctions as well.

And let me guess, you modified it the second you opened the box.

Love the little Tonka's .      you were blessed to have them .

When I was growing up, we had sticks, we found under trees and some nice smooth stones to play with...
