Dumb question - 69 and 70 rear quarters

Except for the cutout for the marker light, is the rear quarter in a 1969 the same as 1970?  I was looking at them and from memory, couldn't spot any differences.  

I've found good solid 1970 quarters, wondering if welding up the marker light was all it took to make them into 1969s...

I think in addition to the marker light differences, the area by the rear bumper is different as well.
