That is so cool! They did a great job on all the details, from the trains to the graffiti on the trestles to the car carriers loaded with 1976 AMC products plus '77 Chevrolets. They even have the sound of the diesel loco & the steam loco. Setting that up outdoors with natural light & natural backdrop puts it over the top. The somewhat shaky setup that it was all sitting upon on the edge of a hill only adds to the drama.

Model railroading has really improved over the years. Now you can buy locomotives that are computer controlled with sound and lighting (and smoke on steamers). One of the premier model train manufacturers is located in Toronto. Rapido trains has some of the best trains available (and they model Canadian trains including the venerable VIA LRC and the early CN Turbo train). The owner is VERY enthusiastic and actually has a replica of a Via coach in his basement! Check out one of their Youtube videos
