Looks like this car has been painted at least four times and they didn't agree each time on what was really Matador Red. I'm trying to figure out what the original is. This is from an area under the engine emblem.
I like the vibrant, blood red of #3. I don't like any of the surrounding colors that all have too much blue for me (ie: too maroon).
They are sanding down, and it looks to me like #3 is the further "down" the stack.

What's the firewall look like? That's the colour I matched. My car is also Matador Red which is just another name for a Blood Red. #3 does look correct.

Matador red looks most like number 3. It is non metallic, and like the name implies it is a dark blood color with black in it. Here is a pic of a matador red 69 GTO I sold 17 years ago. It was repainted but it was bang on. We matched the original paint that was still in all the jams. This picture makes it look less dark than it really was.
Here is a pic of Matador from my 69 Dealer album, (the background was an incorrect shoot of Burgundy). By the way it is a beautiful color. A favorite of hotrodders for decades. Oldsmobile used it in 70 as well. The recipe of PPG global is bang on. (assuming your paint shop mixes it properly of course)
