I can't believe how fast the time has flown! Ten years! Wow! I've had a great time running the site and have met a lot of great people, many of whom I consider great friends. Here's to another ten and beyond!

Todd a special day indeed. Ten year anniversary of Canadian Poncho and my wife Carol's eightieth birthday. Congratulations to both achievements.  Bob.

In the last ten years I have learned a tremendous amount about cars and how good car people are.  Time well spent.

How many car sites out there can make that claim. I honestly can not imagine life with out C.P., i would be lost in the wilderness with out C.P. Thank you Todd, for making this all possible, it is very greatly appreciated sir. Cheers. George

Congrats on the tenth anniversary.

Now....  everyone donate $1.00 for each year and Todd can relax for the next year without looking for funds at the end of each month.

It is such a great site to be lurking around at and the price of admission is beyond reasonable.

I am donating my $10.00 using the simplest method.   Pay Pal.

Be a follower and anti up.

Happy 10th, Canadian Poncho!  And thanks Todd for all your efforts to provide this meeting place for us all!

Based on when the first McLaughlin motor car rolled out of the factory, it occurs to me that the 10th anniversary of the company that would go on to produce Canadian Pontiacs would have occurred around 1918 (which is also the year when GM actually bought McLaughlin, creating General Motors of Canada)... and here we are all still talking about their products 100 years later!

Here's a link to an interesting blog post on GM of Canada's history:

Also there's this timeline from GM Canada:

Happy 10th Anniversary. I've learned lots, made lots of new friends, and helped out a few people along the way.

CP has become part of my daily routine...sometimes more than once per day.
A big thank you to Todd for starting and supporting the site.
To my fellow CPers let's keep this going.

And we just returned home from a 200 mile G8 round trip to our favourite Mexican restaurant in North Dakota. Beautiful day for a drive. Not being a drinker I couldn't hoist one for Canadian Poncho to celebrate, even though there was 2 reasons to celebrate today!

I think it was about this time of night, exactly 10 years ago, I was surfing Kijiji and there was this little teaser ad from some unknown about a "Canadian Pontiac Forum"......

The rest is history. 35,367 posts later, here I am, still loving it!

And I was surfing Kijiji that evening on my wife's birthday of all things. Talk about an understanding woman.

3,653 days in 10 years... 9.68 posts per day in 10 years... 42% trying to sell fake stuff, 18% organizing coffee nights, 15% talking about '66 Grande Parisienne, 10% blasting me, 7% resizing/rotating others' pictures, 5% reminding people he's at the cabin, 3% checking parts books and helping other members...

Good job buddy!

Thanks to CP, I've visited Ingersoll a couple of times, met members in Switzerland, Ontario and Manitoba, visited Winnipeg and secured permanent accomodations in Morris...

Who are the original 10 memebers still active here Todd?
