... yes a false sense of security.

There could be some flooding this weekend if there are high rain amounts.

This afternoon I had deliveries in Souris (north-eastern part of the island). While it was "only" 7 degrees there ten minutes south I stopped to visit friends in an area called Fortune Bridge. This is what the temperature was there:

temp.jpg

The wind actually felt warm there. It's currently 12c at my place however there's a flash freeze warning for tomorrow night which could make things interesting with all the rain expected tonight and during the day tomorrow.

I think his cousin runs a little restaurant at the road to Fortune, small gas station?? Have been to visit there.

Warm out west today as well, well not like you guys but we won't be -16 tomorrow either, LOL. +9 here today.

18C in Cheticamp NS this morning at about 8 am, bizarre. Made it to 17C here yesterday, 15C this morning, now raining and blowing a bunch again. Forecast is for no lower than -6C for the next week, so we'll make it through January pretty good.

I'm tired of the weather yo-yo this year. -38C one day, 2 above the next. Soon it'll rain frogs...

C'mon summer!!!!!

Same here. Is it me or is weather forecasting more inaccurate than ever?

We got about 15cm of blowing snow last night.  Snow/rain mix tomorrow.

Looks like winter is finally here.

No snow or cold weather out here, but the local ski mountains, Mount Washington BC is getting hit hard.

forecast is for 2 meters of snow before the end of weekend. Also we have had winter storms on North end of Island

with the biggest waves in history, well in record anyway, 10 meter waves hitting the west coast, Tofino area. great for storm watchers.

But just some liquid sunshine where we live, +8 today.

I think we only made it to 6 today. Pretty darn nice day but boy was the city a mess. My truck is a whole new colour now.

Great day for a peek around a wrecking yard though. Just didn't have a lot of time, maybe next time.

I wasted $4.00 on the coin wash today. I know it won't be clean for long
