A buddy of mine is looking for front inside fender wells for his '64 Pontiac. Am I correct in my assumption that the '64 Chevy inner fender wells fit a '64 Pontiac? Thanks.
'64 Parisienne CS "barn find" - last on the road in '86 ... Owner Protection Plan booklet, original paint, original near-mint aqua interior, original aqua GM floor mats, original 283, factory posi, and original rust.
I posted the two sets of photos separate so they are not confused. I know a few metal guys that can make anything fit but I doubt the the inner fender and would bolt on nicely. The angles and shape look just enough off that I dont know if they really show well in the photos. The front inner fender shave completely different attachment points too horizontal bolts on pontiac and vertical on Chevy by the looks of things
Hey brian im going to look at a 4 door parts car for myself and i wont need the inner fenders if they are in decent shape, there yours. will get pics asap, is your buddy in regina?
I have a set of 63's you can have, I need to dig them out. If the above doesn't work out. I know they have some holes and not sure if 63 or 64 are the same.

Thanks, guys. Pics would be greatly appreciated. My buddy is not located in Regina but that would not be a problem. I am not certain as to whether or not '63 fenders would fit.
pic of top of the driver side fender 63 Pontiac , see how straight it is compared to the 64 fender above? The 63 inner fender has a small heavy gauge bracket that it bolts to, then the top of the bracket bolts to the fender back near the hood hinges. Completely different shape.

These pictures helped me with the position of A/arm shields, if correct??? I thought they stapled on the outside of inner fender, but see yours has them on from 'engine side"??? Both my cars are missing them but the staples are flush with metal on engine side which leads be to believe material was on the outside [wheel side] or the staple head would have the thickness of material showing on engine side????

On my 63 convertible and 62 Chevies, the original rubber shields I removed were on the wheel side, held on by the 2 staple ends being bent over on top of the rubber. On the 63, there is a flange/lip around the opening and the rubber seats naturally into that flange from the wheel side.
