Tough find...was a set of rear 1/4 trim on ebay about 1 1/2 year ago. As stated, can tig weld ,but need a Gooood welder(your not nuts Mark!). Sell lots of .035-.045 tig rod to the aeromotive industry...kinda like tig welding a beer can....but can be done! Think this might be your best option...4dr into a 2dr unless you want to wait a couple of years(or more) until some trim shows up. Have some spare 4 dr trim that I will compere to my 2dr trim...think the kick down is a lot more harsh on the 4dr trim.
Thanks guys. I should have said that I have my original. When my car was in a shop when I was much younger,
someones overalls snagged the very rear of it & bent the last 3". It doesn't look the same. Maybe I could straighten
it then have it tigged, I didn't think it was an option until now.
30 years ago I could have bought the whole set at a junk yard for $100. OMG but I thought what do I need those for.
I was 17 & 100 bucks was my whole paycheck
Thanks & Cheers
