Putting James car back together and seems I stole his driver side interior door release for my HT! The nerve of me! Just need the release mechanism  that screws to the door. Thx Jim

I can check for you guys but 67 may be different because the style of lock knob is different, location etc.

I was curious, so I checked right away.

63-67 is all the same, but it has to be from a 2 door and it has to be for the correct side. Right and left are not the same (which makes sense).

Does it show 2 part #'s ? one for 2dr and another for 4dr. confuse I know I put the 4dr one in my HT and it works fine.

Hmm, yeah, it says only 2 door post and 2 door hardtop use the same number.

But you can't argue with success! Ignore the book, it's been wrong before on interchange. It can be as simple as some little thing you can't see when it comes to GM part number interchange.
