        The 84 S10 we have now with 355 sbc in it ...I removed the ratchet shifter and installed a stock Chevelle horseshoe shifter .  (probably just me)

I'm pretty sure that the reason Carl wouldn't want the shifter is that it "hurts".

 

I like to refer to auto-correct as auto-incorrect.

I have had several cars with the Hurst Comp shifter . (have 1 in another brand now)   They took a horrendous amount of abuse in my cars ....

 

Auto shifter . no luck
