Mmmm, I'm sorry but I'm just not a fan of new stuff. I suspect I'd have a huge smile when I have a ride in either of those, but they don't do it for me in the looks department.
Just too much gray hair I guess, I really don't appreciate a lot of stuff made after the late 70's/early 80's.

Ditch the 'Vette. They are looking more like plastic ricers every year.

I want to take the engine and transmission out of that Corvette - LT5 and Super T56 Magnum 6 speed- and put them in my 67 small block Parisienne! I actually got a quote from GM for the engine (LT4), trans and the connect and cruise packages.... $30K CDN. With everything that would need to be spent on top of that, its nothing more than a dream. Sure would be a nice daily summer driver though wouldnt it?

What? That must have been the gold plated version with solid gold wheels... or a typo!
The car companies, especially the Japanese ones, just don't offer that kind of latitude to option-up a car like you could in the old days. It's basically set levels of trim, with the option to purchase a few extras here and there if available. You could load it up with accessories if you want, and I highly doubt you could get the price up by an extra $32,000, but even if that was the case I highly doubt the company would give a car like that to the press to 'advertise' such a high price.
lol . Its a good think that some young folks are open to new things . or we'd all be driving cars like in Cuba .
Instead, we'll all be driving cars that do the driving for us. Then we won't have to waste valuable social media time by doing menial things like watching the road, and steering and braking... wouldn't you much rather be looking at your phone?

In fact the Cadillac CT6 shown above is equipped with Super Cruise, hands free driving, the only car in the world that does currently drive itself. The product specialist told me that there is a camera in the steering wheel which monitors driver (if that's the term) alertness and when it detects that you are distracted will require you to focus and manually drive the car again. The top of the steering wheel lights up in a green glow while the system is operational and can navigate turns and changing road conditions keeping the car centered in the lane. Amazing technology.
My family is after me to get a new Cadillac as my current one is a 2006. I like it though, its a 300 HP V8 and has just over 150,000 km, all the new ones are V6, even that CT6 has 420 HP but I'm not sure about a V6. The CTS V is a V8 but the car is pretty cheaply finished and too flashy with carbon fibre accents compared to the CT6 and even less expensive XTS at $76,000. I'm in no hurry yet.

Must have been a mistake...
I agree, likely a typo. FAKE NEWS.

Anything is possible with the pricing, I immediately realized that when one of the first vehicles I stopped at was a $109,000 Jeep !! It had a Hellcat engine for Pete Sake ?? It was nothing to see a car listed with a base price that was $30,000 less than the "As Displayed" price.
I will say however that I was curious to see that $72,000 Honda, but I just couldn't bare being in their display area, the most boring cars at he show all lined up like a parking lot.
So lets also remember that save the luxury cars, these special high price cars are sold in such limited numbers that they really are irrelevant to the average Joe attending the show, their only purpose is to attract attention to the brands bread and butter cars which judging from the show is the compact SUV and crossover market.
The Chrysler dealer here in Charlottetown has two Trackhawk Cherokees in the show room. I believe one of them optioned out to around 120k. Both are sold..
Probably didn't want to drive them in snow.............
