I commented on the ad for this car the last time it was on Kijiji. Wondering if it was sold to flip. Anyway for anyone interested I know this car very well. It never underwent a frame off restoration and it isn't a SuperSport. The car was originally a 307 Powerglide, it's now a 327 4 speed. Very nice, very solid car BUT not as represented in case any CP member is considering buying it.
my 1970 nova ss started with a 11427 in the serial number and the same in my friend's 68 ss these are both true ss nova's my 69 nova start's with a 11327 factory 307 car. not sure on his.

In Novas 11327 in the VIN indicates a 6 cylinder 2 door, 11427 is an 8 cylinder 2 door. Same applies to Acadians except they`re 71327 & 71427.

Has the ad been changed now that the Poncho brotherhood has seen it ? I don't see where it says it is a Super Sport or where it says its an original 327 4 speed car, which of course we all know the two, SS and 327 can't co-exist anyway in 68.
It sure is poorly written though. Nonetheless it looks and sounds like a good car, one of those "wish it was factory built" kind of cars.
