few carpet questions

alright so i need a new carpet..........

 

few questions though if someone can help out.

 

1. I have a 65 parisienne........is that the same carpet as the 65 impala?

2. Is there any difference between the 2 door and 4 door carpet?

3. is the mass backing carpet worth the extra money or is there a type of underlay you can buy that works?

4. i'm assuming a could cut a hole for the console shifter in an "automatic" version of the carpet?

 

Just looking at a few options is all and want to make sure i get the right thing.

1) carpet is the same as the Impala

2) yes a 2 & 4 door are different. The difference is in the rear. The 2 door has a sraight left to right finished edge. The 4 door has rounded corners with a slight extension so to fit around the rear seat 

2) for additional sound deadner the Mass back is an excellent choice. No messing around with cutting and fitting the foil back stuff although we do sell the 'Hush" mat. Also I believe the Mass back is a bit less expensive.  Because of the Mass backing the fit is much firmer giving a much nicer appearence. 

3) molded carpets will never be precut for the shifter handle auto or 4 speed
