I can't really see where the car is emblemed as a Bonneville other than the rear bezel,
The quality of the photos is not good, but if you squint when you look at the rear quarter shot, it appears to say: "BONNEVILLE".
Plus, the auction ad states:
"It is a Parisienne but emblemed as a Bonneville."
For my personal opinion, while I think the Bonneville tail panel looks fine, the identity of our Canadian Pontiacs is a large part of their uniqueness and charm, so anything done to misidentify it is not an improvement in my eyes.
colour is nice shade , four speed rag rare, agreed needs some bringing back to original hot rod specs, 327s are fun with a four speed, I find it odd no power windows ordered , if you checked most of the goodie boxes
Beauty car..... But man, I find some of the comments terribly funny in regards to keeping it original had retaining more value....
COME ON you guys... Please don't be critical of others cars, their personality, when your own cars, especially a certain Grande with a lump and Strato that has a lump in the making, that were perfect the way they were originally and should have been left as is.... BUT, who am I, a young punk who knows nothing.... LOLOL
(Just my opinion, by the way... )

Meh... I can't comment for others, but will defend my own comments as being my personal opinion. I'm a car guy, I come to a car forum to discuss cars - hard to keep personal opinions out of it.
The car is fine as is, big block, 4-speed, nice colour combo, looks to be in good shape (though the pics are too small to say this for definite).
The bad side of it is if the seller is trying to pass off the car as original by omission as has been suggested by some posters (i.e. an original big-block 4-speed car, not the Bonneville thing). Regardless, I still say buyer beware - if you're throwing good money at a car you need to do the research.
Being a Canadian Pontiac (and GM of Canada branded vehicles to be politically correct) fan, and having lived through the years when many people switched their Beaumonts over to Chevelles because Chevelles were more 'desirable' than Beaumonts, I'm a little sensitive when I see a Parisienne being paraded as a Bonneville, but hey, that's just my little quirky pet peeve, that 99.99999% of the rest of the world would never get anyhow... yeah, my car-geek is showing a little...
It's all good, however. IMHO, whenever you put a car up for sale on the internet, you should toughen yourself up a little to criticism (and lowballers), as once it's "out there" it will be picked apart and commented on. Hopefully the seller, if he/she is a reader of this forum, will not take the comments personally as we car guys like to chew the fat and offer opinions about old cars out there for sale.
In my mind, it's an entirely different thing than a member showing his car on a forum of like-minded individuals and then being criticized for decisions made on his car (though that does happen too, but hopefully in a light-hearted, constructive-criticism kind of way)...
Well, when you are up in the clouds as to asking price, the fact is some originality of motor might help you get a little closer.
But some buy to preserve, some buy to simply have some fun and live out a long held dream. Either is good in my books.
And mine is not a lump btw, it's a highly polished large mass!
LOL Exactly Mark! To each their own.... and dream in what we ask for what we own... we all have personal touches in our cars that others don't agree with... and that's what makes us all different in our own dreams and what the hobby is about.... we should all use a little polishing on the words we use when expressing our thoughts on other peoples, either given or rightly earned property, and maybe be a little more reserved on the context used! Case in point..
OK, point taken guys. I will try to limit posting my opinions in the future. My apologies to all, if I have offended!
Edit: I may have overreacted a little... so don't expect extreme limiting of my opinions, only just slight limiting of my opinions... But not much, really. maybe.

Vince if you read carefully what I posted you'd see it says I'd want it back to original if it were mine. .... I wasn't bashing the seller. I was saying I wouldn't have a "lump" in it.

I also wasn't ripping it apart , it looks great on the inside and exterior, im just not a big fan of big blocks, 409s included, its a rag and a four speed, hot rod 327 would wake it up.The major work is done just needs a little tweaking if you want to have some fun with, and I think we all have been low balled, I was really curious why it wasn't ordered with power when it had all the goodies on it .
