Hard to tell but is that stick on wheel opening trim?
I'd say no.

I contacted the seller (couldn't help myself). He said there's one rust bubble on the hood. "Undercarriage is sweet". He had the car appraised 10 years ago and it was rated as "a #2 survivor".

Oh oh. Nice colour, nice condition, get that retired guy Darryl to fly out and drive it home?

I think that's a not often seen colour combo. They seemed to be mostly green.
Interesting how you often see a rusty square surrounding the cowl tag on 69's. Is it caused by some kind of electrolysis from the aluminum tag, or is it a masking off the tag thing?
I'm kind of sort of interested. Been emailing back and forth with the owner. Waiting on a reply on his best price. I'd have to have the car shipped as there's no way I could get the time off to get the car home. The current price is way over what I'd be able to spend. We'll see what comes of it. If not there's always another one. Oh, and before anyone starts it- I don't want any financial help towards it!
I think he's overpriced as his asking price isn't really a whole lot less than what I was able to get for the 454 Laurentian. At over 100,000 miles it's going to need some work. Back in the day, we were lucky to get 100,000 miles out of a car.
Like I said before, I'd be more than happy to go look at it for you. I'll be at home here for another week and have nothing planned except for some afternoon hockey. Also would have considered driving it for you but I am driving part way across the country to Quebec in June with a car I have to take.

It would be cool if we could figure out a way to do a relay drive with a bunch of us taking it from point to point so no-one has to do the whole drive.
Just as an example-
BC Can Poncho guy takes it from Kelowna to Edmonton, Alberta Can Poncho guy takes it from Edmonton to Regina and so on...

I'd be doing a milk-run on the return trip ... Todd wouldn't see it for a couple months.
Do I get a gas and tire budget?

Thanks guys. Help with transport would be fantastic. I wonder what the insurance implications would be though? I only briefly mentioned the car to Connie and didn't get much of a response. Purchase would require using the line of credit and I'm not sure how she'll feel about that. My accountant did tell me back in 2015 that an old car purchased to promote Canadian Poncho could be written off over a number of years so that would definitely help.
The question is does vintage insurance such as Hagerty cover such a drive?
First off, I'd think you'd have to have the car registered and plated PEI. Have it appraised and certified in BC. Have all those documents sent back to you. Get plates and insurance, send the plates and documents back out to BC to put on the car.
Or some kind of Temporary travel permit?
What would it cost to transport it from BC to PEI, or even at least as close as Ontario?
