The mechanical pump that happened to come with my engine tapped out at 300hp; we ran it electric and it made 402! I want to get a good mechanical and then run it with the actual pump I'll be using and verify it on the dyno, but I'd need it by Monday.
All the pumps I can find on Amazon and Rockauto only have an inlet and an outlet, and my pump should really have a return port as well, shouldn't it? Or is the return from the filter and the pump just has an inlet and outlet?
What pumps am I thinking of that had three ports, were those later emission pumps or something? I know I have the return line but I guess that comes off the filter, not the pump.
