My third favorite Parisienne

Drove this for a winter in college in the 80s/90s.  Just your basic Parisienne.  For some reason I put the powertrain in a 1974 Pontiac and later scrapped the result.  I was a kid!  Also pictured is the blue 2+2 that I parted out to get the seats and so on for my black car.  Just found these old photos!

Here's the only picture I have of a 69 Grande Parisienne I owned some thirty years ago. I haven't seen another one around here since. I still have the hub caps for some reason, they're like a Gran Prix cap but flatter.69 pontiac GP 003.JPG

Those almost look like a 1970 cap from the picture. I've never seen a Grande Parisienne with a metal roof, I think every one I've ever seen had vinyl to at least two-tone. Is this one the same color or is it a darker green over medium green?

I got the car with no engine and a vinyl top flapping in the breeze so I painted the top to match.

Those 608's only fit on the deep dish 14x7" rims that were used on the GP's. They wouldn't fit on a standard Canadian 14" wheel.

Actually the outer portion of the 608 hubcap is the 14x7" Rally II trim ring as used on the 69 GP and Firebird. It's cheaper to buy NOS 608's and pop off the inner portion than to buy NOS trim rings for rally II's.
