Met Brian Owens at the Lindsay flea market. Brian is the fellow who used to work for me and after leaving Green + Ross went to work for Bear Automotive selling equipment. Brian called me to tell me about the 68 Chev Stn Wagon that was wreckers bound. It had a good frame.
That was the real beginning of my 39 year restoration...
Brian told me of an event at the Oshawa Museum that was happening today. They ACCC Antique and Classic Car Club were donating their time to help clean up some of the material at the Museum. We filled a bin of scrap lumber and old signage no longer suitable for display emptying out much of the basement.
Spent 3 hours there helping out. Next event is in the fall. One of the previous projects was to make wooden stands to put under the axles of the cars to keep the tire properly displayed. Old tires tend to loose air often, this way they appear to have the correct air pressure in them
Just a sneak preview of some of the ads on the walls.
Sorry for the twisted pictures. My Samsung phone wont rotate pictures when i post them

Cliff, this is great to hear. I love this Oshawa museum and have supported it for over 25 years now. I never get tired of visiting this treasure. Few folks realize how long it has been there (1961). I would like to encourage every one to visit the Canadian Automotive Museum in Oshawa, Ontario.
