I checked the GM parts books. 57-58 Canadian and US model Pontiacs use 1116533 ignition switch but unfortunately Chevy is a different number. However the fact that it fits 2 years and also US models gives hope you will be able to find one.

Anyone got a picture of one? Many times ignition switches are the same but have different posts and they can be used and work fine. You may be able to use a Chevy switch but have to change out the plastic connector too.
The other variable is the length of the key section with the threads.

Thank you for the replies! There are currently 2 complete units on ebay for the 57 pontiac, but they are quite different from each other. Pictures are attached. Not sure which one is correct.
