The Calgary Stampede Parade is the 2nd biggest parade in the world behind the Tournament of Roses Parade (Rose Bowl Parade).

For 4 or 5 years in the early 90's when I ran a satellite truck based in Calgary, CBC used us as the production truck for the french coverage, and I transmitted both the english & french signals to the satellite, for the english to be received just across the river at CBC Calgary, and the french to be received at CBC Edmonton.
