I went up to the local track (Thunder Mountain) today to watch the Kelowna version of Street Outlaws. They were doing the top 10 challenge and these guys scoot down there pretty good. 1/8th mile with best time at 4.92 seconds and a few of them breaking the 5 second barrier. 

My buddy from Alberta took me there in his 64 Beaumont SD convertible (he has 3 SD convertibles) so it was a familiar ride. He races a 68 Acadian in central Alberta on alcohol that is pulling 6.6 seconds in the eighth mile.
