My Latest '64 Aquisition

Tilt, floor 3-speed, camel hump heads, Holly four barrel on a 283, some are Custom Sport parts and some are regular Parisienne ... I have to find out more about this cars history.

It came with L & R NOS rear quarters.

Those half-quarters are a real find. The shifter may be a Hurst Indy or a Hurst Mystery Shifter. That Holley is probably tons for that engine, but if it is between 450 - 600 cfm it would work very well. A really nice things is the presence of a clutch. So have you decided where you are going with it?

Good score Darryl. Bonus with those quarters. Is the door panel color the same as your original car? Reason I ask is does it have that elusive sail panel that you were looking for or do I have this wrong. Good eye out there.

I sold those quarter sections to a fellow in Nova Scotia last fall. I wondered what they were for. Now I know.

Best of luck, whatever you decide to do with the latest addition.

If you need any 64 Parisienne parts let me know. I still have a few things from cars I parted out over the years.

Good find Darryl, you are cornering the market on 64's on the right coast.

It is actually too big of a carb ... the engine bogs.

Sadly, the sail panel is no good ... the hunt continues. I might have to get something made.

I think this is the last one I'll buy.blankstare

It is rough metal-wise like all "right coast" cars ... it has a spray-foam body job, covered by rocker guard spray.no

Congrats Darryl!  You must be flush with parts by now, but unfortunately the sail panels remain elusive!

I do recall seeing that car for sale on kijiji...

Is the sail panel the side of the roof at the rear?

Thanks Don. I'll get you look if need be. I don't know if they are the same.
