Check another one off my personal bucket list.

I apologize for going so far off the tohpic of this forum.  The story here is I for one have a bucket list of cars to own in my life time.  This one has been on the list since I was a pre-teen delivering newspapers in the 50's.  Almost everyday at the end of my route, I would stop at the local Drug Store/Pharmacy to scan the magazine rack.  It seemed like all the Hot Rods were in California.  I didn't much care for the T-buckets but any 28-34 coupe, open or 2 dr sedan had my attention.  It was too much to even consider owning one of these Rods in Michigan due to the weather.

My life has taken some turns and now I own a house in Ft Myers, FL and if you can't live on Malibu Beach this might be the next best option.  Other than the Hurricane season, last winter while in Florida for 4 months it rained two times.  I can live with an open cockpit rod in those conditions.

Here are some pictures of the open cockpit Model A pickup I recently acquired.  I believe this will be in my trailer for the trip to Ft Myers this fall.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

That is cool! Definitely a Florida car!

I'm not trying to be critical, but that transmission cooler scares me. Never seen one mounted above the rear diff before, and it might work fine, but if was mine, I would ditch the rubber hoses and replace them with stainless tubing, or at least get that rubber tubing away from the exhaust.

Sweet Roadster pick up.

A few years ago I made a list of cars I wanted to keep and not keep fixing and selling. Initially the list was an easy 6. 1969 Camaro, 1969 GTO, 1935(34) Chevy 3 window coupe, 1957 Chevy, 1969 2+2, 1967 Mustang and an older Harley Almost there except for a couple extras.
