I would say restoration is the right move. Leaving the 1,000,000th Corvette as a damaged, dirty heap would be very disrespectful to the brand, IMHO.
The sinkhole and the damage have been very well documented in photos, and now the restoration becomes part of its history as well.
What about the others?
