Even still, with the price of paint, bodywork and chrome these days, it's nothing that 10 grand won't take care of. Most people probably won't go that far to look at it, though, given that probably only a small percentage of people out there would actually drive it looking like that. So it's a buy it then immediately spend money on it deal... then what if it needs the typical floor pans, body mounts, etc etc... price probably has to come down a lot more before people will look at buying what is essentially a 283 powerglide project car.
Would be a whole different story if it were a 327 4-speed or 409 car... hopefully this one gets saved eventually.
