What a rare piece and I'd say desirable as well. That's a mega dollar project, price should be $1,400 not $14,000. Body looks mostly ok though.

Those are such beautiful cars when they are in decent shape. Don't even have to be show cars but this one just makes me sad...

Probably will be rotting outside for years to come at that price.  Too bad the owner wouldn't face facts and lower the price to make it attractive to somebody.  With the cost of restoration on a car like this, nobody will want to buy in at $14,000, so the car will likely not ever be saved.

14 Gs should get you a decent driver.

I bought this in 1989 for $800....I know with inflation and all, it would be more now but not 14,000

According to the bank of Canada your 1989 $800 purchase would be $1424.93 today. About 1/10 the asking price of that Parisienne.

Funny, look what Big Ray said "That's a mega dollar project, price should be $1,400 not $14,000" .

Makes me think..the only thing holding the body together is the closed doors!! Wonder what the frame looks like or lack there of? What a shame to be that neglected and still want over the top $$$ for it.

I think the asking price is just a "fish"....and probably based on 59 Impala 'vert values...

If it's really for sale....price will be more realistic...in a month...

As much as i LOVE this 59, the money involved in getting it right................ well you better keep it and never sell it. There is no way to recoup your investment when that kind of money is spent. Please do not get me wrong, this car should be restored by some one with really deep pockets that plans on keeping her and enjoying her.

The listing is gone....Good thing we have the pics posted...

In defense...of the sellers seeming high price......I looked in the registry.....and see only 2 59 'verts listed...and they are both 6 cylinders...(one is in Texas)

I didn't find any production figures...but would guess at less than 1000 total...(v8 and 6 cyl. combined)

58 'verts are commanding near 100K...in restored condition.....and my guess is the 59's will be surpassing that soon....

Agree and disagree. Numbers produced doesn`t  necessarily reflect value. Just look at Beaumont/Acadian values compared to numbers produced(in most models)? Just my opinion but 40 -60g to get that body back to orig then all the rest(upholstery, chrome, drive train etc).  Has to be a labour of luv and the achievement of bringing her back. Even at 110 don't think you'll make a buck. Like stated deep pockets..and have to luv the car!  Wish I had deeper pockets.....luv the car!!!!!
