That's interesting. Most of the RHD Pontiacs we see are the 4 door hardtops (pillarless) but your's is a sedan.

Hi Walter... Glad you took my cue and signed up... (I was the guy on Facebook that decoded as much of the data tag as I could except for the DOMRD)

A 68 Laurentian Sedan I had a few years back, took the kids for a trip up North in it.

There are a few Laurentians in NZ but that's the only Parisienne I've seen.

Carl - would these be a conversion or factory RHD?

Walter, a hardy welcome aboard from Milton, Ontario. Always good to have members from far away lands. I see your 68 is in a restoration shop, will they be doing all the work on your car. Could you tell us all here what your plans are for the 68. I would recommend a build thread here on C.P. for your 68, it will be fun. Good luck with the 68 and cheers mate. George

Hi Vincent

Yes great site lots of info my understanding or have been may of may not be correct that DOMRO my have had something to do with built for diplomatic fleet which is possible as alot of your government cars and cars used by the diplomatic service were black .

Anyone else has any thoughts or ideas would love to hear them

I was under the impression that GM Holden supplied the interiors from Australia. There were some differences. The 4 door Htp had a fold  down center armrest and had cloth interiors. Canadian cars used  cloth / vinyl seats combo, but no center arm rest. I stand corrected

Dale u are correct the aussie cars had locally suppiled interiors and a centre armrest my car has material similar to 68 impala and no centre armrests will get a good pic and see what we can find

cheers
