Sitting at a show and shine I noticed a crack in the lens of my hi/low headlight.

 

Turns out the glass was broken and a piece  missing. Just need one to complete my set.

Cant seem to find any retailers who sell these anymore.

I saw something interesting last night, a newer peterbuilt running what looked like leds in 53,4 sizing, ill have to investigate . they were mounted in the chrome pods on the side of the hood two per  side.

I had a set of cibies in my 75 nova back in the late 70s, they rusted inside due to moisture. I have a pair of hella h4s in my 63, great lights. The cibies worked great too.

Regrets, I have had a few......
Years ago I flogged a few of these just to get rid of them at an Auto Flea Market.

Never thought I would keep the car 40 years.

Bit the bullet and ordered some new hi low Hella.

Guess I will have a spare as the Hella come in a set of 2
Should be here tomorrow.
